How to Reset Before School Starts
How to Reset Before School Starts
Okay, school is just around the corner, and instead of feeling overwhelmed, let’s actually get ahead — not by overdoing things, but by doing the right small things that make you feel ready.
1️⃣ One Week Before: Backpack Reset
Take your backpack — yes, that one hiding in the corner — and dump it out. Toss the wrappers, broken pencils, old worksheets. Start fresh.
Now put in:
-
One 5-subject notebook
-
A few colorful folders (for keeping subjects separate)
-
One clip folder (this is your “test tracker” — put any upcoming test notice, syllabus, or important sheet in here)
That’s all. Keep it simple and neat.
2️⃣ Two Days Before: Declutter Your Space (Physically & Mentally)
🧹 Physical Declutter
Your study space matters. If it’s messy, your brain feels messy. So:
-
Invest in an organizer (yes, use your pocket money!)
-
File your old notebooks or throw what you don’t need
-
Clear the surface — less stuff = less stress
📱 Digital Declutter
This is the big one:
-
Delete the apps that waste your time (you know which ones)
-
Set your phone to turn monotone after 2–3 hours — it makes it boring so you use it less
-
When you’re studying, hand your phone to a friend or sibling — make it unreachable
If you don’t see it, you won’t crave it. Trust me.
This isn’t about becoming a perfect student. It’s just about starting clean, clear, and a little more in control.
Because when your bag is ready, your space is tidy, and your phone isn’t pulling you in 24/7… school becomes way less overwhelming.
You’ve got this 💪✨
